Personality:
Quiet and soft spoken, Kanade always had trouble speaking out and often leads to her downfall. This is made worse by a speech deficiency that makes her stutter, which makes speaking out (or even just reciting in class) hard. She also has low self-esteem, but she rarely shows it and often pretends things are okay just to not worry her mother(s). Despite all that, Kanade is caring and trusting--- sometimes almost too trusting which turns to her being taken advantage of and/or bullied. Kanade is also very forgiving and considerate that she often shrugs off anything bad that's done to her. Once you get to know her, she can be really playful and teasing-- always wanting her close ones to be smiling and happy.

Strengths:
- Pretty good stamina-- she's healthy.
- Level-headed.
- Good natured. Always with a smile on her face.
- Hard Working. Will get things done (most of the time, anyway)

History:
Kanade is the daughter of Eiichirou Yukawa to a mistress, Michiko Tachibana. Due to the nature of being born out of an affair, Kanade and her mother were forced to an agreement to never show themselves Eiichirou and his family, in exchange to monetary aid. This has been how things were but it didn't seem to bother Kanade at all as she grew up. Kanade lived in an apartment with her mother and with 3 of her workmates, and they all helped each other to raise her as a daughter.

Kanade was often made fun of and bullied at school because of her speech deficiency, but this stopped when Ryuuen transferred into her class and an incident involving them. She befriended Ryuuen after and got him to help her with studying too. They were close ever since—until another incident happened that made Ryuuen lose his left eye. Deeming Ryuuen as bad influence, Kanade was banned from even getting near him. A few days later, Ryuuen stopped coming to school completely and disappeared.

A few months later, Kanade accidentally met Gou and found out where Ryuu is. Determined, she managed to nag her parents to let her transfer to Higashimori High--


Trivia:
- Her mother is a hostess and entertainer. So are her other 'mothers'.
- Her father is a businessman who ventures in the medical field. Most of her relatives in her father's side are doctors, nurses and what not. (Yes, they're rich.) Her father is paying for her schooling and is actually quiet happy that she's determined about something....
- Her father doesn't really hate her. In fact, he loves her a lot and wants to keep her and her mother around. It's her grandmother who doesn't want her, saying that it's bad for the name of the family and the business. Thus--
- Left handed.
- Ryuu's doctor is actually her Aunt! Gou, Ryuu's uncle, actually worked for her father as well. But she doesn't know that.
- She actually threatened her parents to runaway if they didn't let her go. Wow.
- She's bisexual. She just doesn't know that.
- OOC: Her name is a tribute to Tachibana Kanade of AngelBeats-- but 'Kanade' instead of being written as "Playing", is written as 叶（かな；grant; answer）　出（で；exit; leave）
