Background: Iijima comes from a long line of politicians, and being the oldest son and his father's favorite, his parents invested a lot of money into his education and upbringing. Iiji was a straight-laced, obedient and studious young man who did everything to make his dad happy.
That was until, at the age of 17, he met a 26 year old young salaryman named Kirihiko Suzhara. Kirihiko was an absolute gentleman and Iiji soon fell deep in love with him. The two developed a relationship, but kept it secret lest his father find out and lose love for his golden boy.
The two stayed an item for about 2 years before tragedy struck. While on a date, Iijima had almost gotten hit b a car, but was saved by Kirihiko.
Through a whirlwind of events, Iijima's father had found out about them and had paid people to have the bed-ridden Kirihiko transfered across the country to somewhere Iijima could never find.
Dismayed and unable to forgive his father, he ran away from home with the help of his cousin Yasuo and changed his name (From Iijima Yayoi to Yayoi Iijima) in order to sever all ties with his father.
Despite all his efforts, Yayoi could never find Kirihiko again and without the financial support of his family, he could not finish studying and instead started a small dress shop. Because of his skill for designing his business flourished and eventually grew into a large company he called Barazoku.
Personality: Yoi-ma has a bit of a diva complex when it comes to things in his expertise. He gets easily horrified by bad style, and gets the strong urge to make ugly things look beautiful.
He has confidence and a certain charisma which draws people to him despite his obsessive compulsiveness. He's also very sociable and a bit of a flirt, but he does have the habit of being tactless and to the point; especially when it comes to what he might think of you.
Yayoi likes to look less threatening and less capable then he actually is. People are often caught off-guard when it comes to his skills and abilities, but he claims, he hides them out of modesty.
